Celebrated my birthday at L'oscar and it was the best decision I ever made! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐A special thanks to Alex, Ashish, Jessica and Luigi who took care of our table, we were well attended to and got great recommendations from the menu. Next time I come back to L'oscar I will be trying the dubai chocolate brule!

L’OSCAR is a beautifully designed hotel, and especially during the Christmas season it is exquisitely decorated. From the moment you step inside, you immediately feel welcomed and at ease. The rooms are truly unique, and every space within the hotel has its own distinct character and charm. The lobby makes you feel as though you are a lord in a grand castle, while the bar and restaurant area is absolutely outstanding. The food was exceptional—far better than in many of the so-called “Insta-fancy” restaurants we visited in the days prior. What truly sets this hotel apart, however, is the staff. Not only are they incredibly attentive and eager to fulfill every wish, but they do so with a level of warmth, discretion, and genuine friendliness that is rare to find. Their unintrusive yet heartfelt service was genuinely one of the highlights of our entire trip. A sincere thank you to the entire team for such a wonderful stay and an unforgettable experience. The only addition I could wish for would be a spa, which would make the experience absolutely perfect.

From the moment we arrived, the elegance of the property and the genuine warmth of the team made us feel incredibly welcome. A special thank you to Toni for helping us get settled so smoothly, and to the front desk staff—especially Rasheed—for their professionalism, kindness, and attention to detail. Our suite was impeccably cared for and made our stay exceptionally comfortable. We were also fortunate to celebrate my birthday during our visit, and the thoughtfulness shown by the team made it feel extra special. This was a stay filled with gracious service, lovely moments, and lasting memories. The general manager should be very proud of such a remarkable team. We would absolutely return and highly recommend this hotel. Location is A+ as the Holborn tube station is steps away allowing you to get to anywhere in an efficient manner.

Excellent hotel! Service by the doorman Toni, all the staff at the front desk, and the lovely ladies at the restaurant was outstanding! The room was beautiful and well equipped, the mini bar was exceptionally stocked, all the amenities were very luxurious, underground parking is 4 mins walking distance

Stepping into this hotel for their Christmas Afternoon Tea felt like entering a world of quiet luxury and festive magic. Every detail was exquisitely considered, from the warm, golden interiors to the beautifully curated presentation of each dish. The complimentary carrot cake was, without exaggeration, the best carrot cake I have ever tasted—moist, perfectly spiced, and deeply comforting. Each element of the afternoon tea felt like a piece of edible art. The sandwiches were refined yet indulgent, featuring seasonal highlights such as Christmas-style turkey, but the truffle sandwich was truly unforgettable and stayed with me long after the last bite. Two types of freshly baked scones were served with three luxurious accompaniments, creating an exceptionally generous experience. The blended teas were outstanding—fragrant, balanced, and clearly crafted with expertise. This was not just afternoon tea, but a celebration of craftsmanship, artistry, and thoughtful hospitality. We had an amazing experience here! The place is absolutely beautiful and every turn the design catches you by surprise and delights. Tony, our attendant was extremely friendly and efficient. The girls at the front desk deserve a glass of champagne. They were amazing! The bartender I wish I could remember his name, but he was Ukrainian and he was amazing as well. Not to mention he was quite a handsome fella with a great smile and a warm personality. We will definitely be back. Take the history of this place, it was once a Baptist Church and was bombed during the war on the fourth floor. But she would never know it. The turn down service in the evenings was extremely special every night. We were surprised with a little gift on the pillow. The breakfast was amazing the granola, fresh berries, and the fresh berry smoothie, along with the smoked salmon on the crushed avocado sourdough bread will delight and start your day perfectly.

This is a review for the bar only. My mom and I stopped in for a post-theatre drink, and we had the best time. Shout out to Haroon, our bartender, who was so lovely and gave wonderful drink recommendations. My mom was absolutely obsessed with his scotch recommendation! I had the Canterville Thyme drink based on Haroon’s rec - normally not a gin person, but this drink was an 11 out of 10.

One of the most lovely boutique hotels I have ever encountered! The rooms and ambiance were fantastic, but what truly set it apart was the service. Tony and Maria were simply marvelous…the epitome of hospitality and kindness.
